Summary:

So much had been foretold in the Scriptures about the coming of Messiah, and this week we look at a prophet–who was also foretold–"He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way for the Lord's coming! Clear the road for him!'" That voice was John, who had a unique ministry as the forerunner of Jesus--the road clearer. His method was baptism so he was called John, The Baptizer. We're going to look at his story–and his message–as it still points us to the Savior, and prepares the way for Him to come into our lives.
